Apprenticeship Program
11th-12th Apprenticeship Charlotte:
Apprenticeships combine coursework with paid, on-the-job training at one company over one to four years. Central Piedmont is the educational partner of many apprenticeship programs. Occupations range from healthcare to manufacturing.
There are three components to a registered apprenticeship: on-the-job training, a progressive wage scale, and education. Workplace Learning can help connect you. Also, in some cases, you can get your Central Piedmont tuition and fees covered.

Financial Aid
SAT and ACT Tests
STANDARD TEST REQUIREMENT
Students with a weighted High School GPA greater than or equal to 2.50 and less than 2.80 are required to submit a standardized test score of a 17 or higher on the ACT or a 930 or higher on the SAT.
Lake Norman Charter administers the Pre-ACT to our sophomores every year in the spring and the state of North Carolina pays for each junior to take the ACT once during the spring on campus as well.
If you want to sign up for more tests, you must log into your ACT account and sign up on ACT.org.
Sign up for your SAT test using collegeboard website. Learn study techniques and practice testing. You can also college search and sign up for scholarships through the website.
Lake Norman Charter offers the PSAT test to our 11th & 10th grade students and the PSAT 8/9 to our 9th grade students for a fee in the fall.
