Knights' Athletic Scholarship
The 2026 Knights' Athletic Scholarship Application will open on March 16!
If you are a graduating senior and meet the criteria and eligibility, please read carefully. The following steps must be completed by the applicant, and it's the applicant's responsibility to make sure all three pieces are submitted by the deadline date of April 12, 2026. Incomplete or late applications will NOT be considered.
- Complete and submit the ABC Scholarship Application online by April 12, 2026
- Request a Confidential Coach recommendation form to an LNC coach of your choice
- Request a Confidential Teacher recommendation form to an LNC teacher who did not coach the student-athlete
Please allow your coach and teacher at least ONE week to complete the recommendation forms. Email Ms. Thomas or Ms. Peppercorn.
The Knights' Athletic Scholarships will be awarded during the Senior Award Ceremony in May.
Scholarship Levels
Each scholarship is offered to one female and one male
- The Knights’ Shield - a $1,500 scholarship to one female and one male student-athlete, emphasizing athletic, leadership, and academic accomplishments
- The Knights’ Lance - a $1000 scholarship to one female and one male student-athlete, emphasizing athletic, leadership, and academic accomplishments
Requirements for Applying
Applicants must:
- A proven record of athletic excellence and competed in at least one varsity sport in both junior and senior years.
- Demonstrate leadership and teamwork by putting the school and team first.
- Maintain outstanding academic achievement.
- Honorably represent LNC, with strong sportsmanship on and off the field.
Eligibility for Applying
Applicant must:
- Be a CURRENT LNC Athletic Booster Club MEMBER (student or family) SINCE SEPT. 30 of the current school year.
- Be on track to graduate & have accepted admission to an accredited college or university for the upcoming fall semester.
- Submit a completed LNC ABC Knights' Shield Scholarship Application online by the due date.
