Week of August 15

8/18/22:  LNC 18 - Community School of Davidson 20
With little prep time and only a few days of full practice, the Knights put up an awesome fight, eventually losing 20 – 18.  Chase Gentile had multiple touchdowns as well as a handful of tackles. Chace Roberts kept us in the game with a 60 yard touchdown run in the 3rd quarter. Mason Anderson forced a fumble in the 4th quarter to give the Knights a chance to win the game; eventually they came up short. 

The Knights look to build on their impressive debut next Wednesday at 4"30 as they will be playing their first home game of the season against Mountain Island Charter.

8/17/22:  The Lady Knights advance to 2-1 overall after defeating CSD in 3 sets with scores of 25-16, 25-10 and 25-19. 

8/16/22:  The Lady Knights lost in a hard-fought match against Christ the King in 5 sets. Scores were 23-25, 27-25, 23-25, 25-12 and 13-15. 

8/15/22:  The Lady Knights started their season with a home win against Pine Lake Prep! Scores were 25-20, 18-25, 25-15 and 25-20. Great play by all the Knights! 

8/17/22:   The JV Knights defeated CSD in 3 sets with scores of 25-9, 24-26 and 15-4.

The JV Knights defeated CTK in 3 sets. Scores were 13-25, 25-16 and 15-12.

8/15/22:  JV Knights won their first home game of the season with scores of 26-24 and 25-23.

The women had a convincing 9-0 win over The Community School of Davidson in their season opener. LNC swept all six singles matches without losing a game and dropped only two games in doubles.

8/20/22:  LNC 38 - Southlake Davidson 8
The LNC varsity Knights had a huge win at their inaugural game of the season. Tyler Price, Quincy McKay, Grayson Harvey, Major Leak, Devin Ward, Zach Johnson, Chas Hawley, and Jackson Ellington all gave great performances. The offensive line did an outstanding job and defense had a complete shut out! As a special treat, the most successful Knights football team in school history (2012) came back for a 10 year reunion with Coach McKay!
