HS WOMEN'S TENNIS
10/28/22
The women had a strong showing in the singles & doubles state tourney this weekend.

Freshman Luci Falls had a phenomenal 10-match tournament winning streak & was crowned the conference & regional champion before losing in a third set tie-breaker in the semi finals of the state tournament. Luci defeated top players from Hunt HS and East Lincoln to reach the semi-finals. Freshman Eleina Moon also had an excellent tournament run, finishing 2nd in the conference & region & in the top-16 in the state for singles.

Senior & captain Sidney Ross & sophomore Ananya Sriram dominated the conference & region, winning both doubles tournaments before losing to a sister duo from Fike HS who went on to win states. 

Congratulations to all four LNC tennis players for their hard earned top-4 finish.

The ladies won their 2nd round match in team dual playoffs by defeating North Lincoln 5-1 in singles play. The team advances to the quarterfinals of the 3A dual playoffs,
