Week of November 7

MS GIRLS' BASKETBALL
11/9/22
The Lady Knights opened up their first home game with a huge win against Charlotte Christian. The Lady Knights finished the game 50-49 in overtime after trailing 11 points coming into the second half. It was a great team effort from everyone!

The Lady Knights began their season with a tough loss to a very tough Cannon team, 74-16.

MS BOYS' BASKETBALL
11/9/22
The boys hosted their first home game against Charlotte Christian. The boys got off to a fast start, but eventually found themselves in a fight as Charlotte Christian scraped their way back into the game. In the end, the Knights pulled out a 57-51 victory led by Collin McConneyhead’ s 25 points, Isaiah Carter's 10 points & Jeremiah Hull’s 9 points.  

11/8/22
The Knights traveled to Cannon to take on the defending champs in their own house.  The boys brought a stifling defense, holding Cannon to only 9 points in the first half. Collin McConneyhead led the team with 15 points, with scoring help from Isaiah Carter and Jake Wozniak adding 8 and 7 points respectively.  In the end, the full team effort on defense was too much for Cannon, as the Knights won their first game of the season 50–29.
