Week of November 29

Great team win for the girls against Cannon, 45-38. The girls started the game with pure intensity and hustle and it carried throughout the entire game. We lost the lead in the middle of the game but the girls did not let up and continued to fight for the win!

The girls played a great game against Charlotte Country Day School, but unfortunately, their efforts fell short in a well-fought loss. The team is improving as the season progresses.

In their 6th game of the season, the boys fought hard against Cannon and kept the game close in the first half, but ultimately lost 72 – 43, bringing their record to 4 & 2.  Markus Kerr led the team with 20 points.  Langston Holder also had a great game with a handful of rebounds and a great defensive effort against big competition.  


The boys pulled out a close win 62–55 against Country Day School to improve to 4 & 1. Markus Kerr led the team, scoring 16 points and Collin McConneyhead added 12 points. The score was close the whole game, but through tough defense and great rebounding the Knights were able to finish the win.

The swim team competed in their second meet of the season against East Rowan High School. The women and men dominated in the pool and won with a combined score of 1171 to 354. Both the women and men placed first in all events.

Anika Kolano (SR), Ben Trautman (SR), Devin Buckler (JR), Ethan Hill (JR), Presley Horton (SO) and Kristina Rooney (SO) won both of their individual events. Kyle Hawkins (JR), Sara Freeman (SO), Addison Lasarsky (FR) and Carter Hall (FR) also brought home first place finishes.

Relay winners include:
Men's 200 Medley Relay - Kyle Hawkins (JR), Devin Buckler (JR), Ethan Hill (JR) & James Burroughs (SO).

A special mention to our 500 Freestyle swimmers for swimming this event, last minute, goes to Addison Lasarsky (FR), Carter Hall (FR) and Ethan Licata (FR). Also, stepping in last minute were Carter Dubiel (SO) and Cooper Cavicchia (FR). Way to be team players!
