HS VOLLEYBALL
8/14/24: The Knights defeated Pine Lake Prep in 3 sets with scores of 25-10, 25-23 and 27-25 to bring them to 2-0 overall.
JV defeated PLP in 3 sets with scores of 25-22, 22-25, and 15-12
8/13/24: The LNC varsity volleyball team defeated West Rowan in their first game of the season and first conference game, in 3 sets with scores of 25-18, 25-17, and 25-21.
The JV team also defeated West Rowan, in 2 sets with scores of 25-18 and 25-21.
HS WOMEN'S TENNIS
8/15/24: In a 4 hour battle, the women pulled out a 6-3 victory over Hough HS with several matches decided by 3 set tiebreakers. LNC won 2 of the 3 tiebreakers played including a second singles win by Eleina Moon and Kate Champion at 5th singles. Both Moon and Champion lost their first sets, came back to win their second sets and won their third set tie-breakers giving LNC 2 of their 4 singles wins. Lucis Falls and Moriah Harris also won their singles matches. Harris came back from being down 2-5 in the first set to win it 7-5 and then won a tight second set 6-4.The match was decided with doubles where LNC's 1st doubles team of the Falls sisters, Luci and Anslee, and LNC's third doubles team of Ailenn Huynh and Kate Champion picked up 2 additional wins. The Women's team is 3-0 after their first week of competition.
