Message from Mr. Smith - Importance of E-Learning Attendance
Regular attendance is a key predictor of student academic success, particularly at the high school, where our students are taking college-prep and college-level courses. Next Tuesday, November 21 is our second E-Learning Day of the school year (7:45am-11:15am). Historically, we have experienced very strong attendance on E-Learning days by our HS students, however, since this one is positioned just prior to the Thanksgiving break I want to stress the importance of your student “attending” this half day of learning.  Furthermore, please do not overlook Monday, November 20 as a traditional full-day of school. There will continue to be a high-level of quality instruction on Monday and our teachers have designed relevant and valuable instruction for our students on Tuesday’s E-Learning Day.

I hope all of you enjoy a safe and happy Thanksgiving. – Mr. Smith

DigCit’s Community Pitch
Last week our DigCit students “pitched” their year-long Passion Projects to our Community. Project themes were diverse and ranged from exercising the right to vote to stopping the epidemic of animal euthanization. Check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAovP7vePZc  We are excited to see the final projects next Spring!
