HS Finals Exam Schedule
We are quickly approaching the end of the school year! HS Finals exam schedule has been set as follows:

  • May 7 – 18: Advanced Placement Exams
  • May 22 – 25 : Senior Final Exams
  • May 25 – June 1: Final Exams

We would like to remind our families of the importance of student attendance on their scheduled exam day and time. Students will not be permitted to take any finals before their scheduled day so please do not schedule travel plans, doctor appointments, etc. during exams. The exam schedule is designed for maximum student success, giving our teachers time to review and students time to study.

Please remind your students to get a good night's sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive at school prepared for testing each day.

Coffee Chat HS Principal's Coffee Chat
Parents are invited to the next Principal's Coffee Chat on Tuesday, March 6. Parents have the opportunity to ask questions and receive updates on school happenings. Coffee and refreshments are provided. The chats are held in the HS gym lobby beginning at 8:00am. Please park in one of the visitor's spots at the HS campus or in the MS main lot (north lot).

Principal Smith will be live streaming the chat through Twitter. Parents who cannot attend but who want to watch can access the live stream link on Mr. Smith's Twitter page or on Schoology HS Parent to Parent once the chat begins. This link will be archived so parents who can't watch live can watch the chat at their convenience. We are excited about providing the opportunity to every HS parent who wishes to "participate" but can't attend in person. Parents do not need to have a Twitter account to participate. The link can be pasted and watched using any internet browser. We hope you can attend either in person or virtually!

DigCit Application Deadline
The HS DigCit class is now accepting applications for the 2018-2019 school year! This Digital Multimedia and Global Citizenship course is different from any other at LNC, and will provide your HS sophomore, junior, or senior with the leadership and technology skills they need to be successful in college and in life! Students collaborate on a series of technology-based projects throughout the year as a service to their school and community. If your student is interested in graphic design, video production or current events, this is the course for him/her!

The application is due by Friday, March 9. Please still apply even if you're unsure if your schedule will allow it: https://goo.gl/forms/O6zaJSbh7f6Wx8Q53
