Rise Together Update
Our ES families are certainly “rising together” in their efforts to build the new elementary school, pledging a whopping $445,000 in week four of our campaign! We have five weeks remaining in the campaign to raise the additional gifts and pledges needed to break ground THIS Spring! Please thoughtfully consider what the right amount is for your family to contribute to this important and enduring goal of building our youngest Knights (and all those to come) their permanent elementary school home. Please click here to see some enduring and exciting incentives at various levels of giving. Keep in mind that any matching funds and gifts given or pledged by your child’s extended family members or friends ALSO count toward your overall giving level for both incentive and recognition purposes! Look for tokens of our appreciation to be sent home with your child next week if you have returned your pledge card. If you have misplaced your personalized pledge card you can get another from the ES Office or by emailing Sara Lay at slay@lncharter.org. Next Tuesday we begin our class competition with the three grade level winners receiving a classroom celebration! So don’t delay, send your pledge card in today!
Together we learn, lead and serve. Let's rise together to build our elementary!
Dress For The Cold Weather
Please make sure your child is dressed for the cold weather. They should have a coat, gloves, and a hat each day as they do go outside to transition to other buildings, for PE class, and for recess. If they are dressed appropriately, they will be just fine for this brief, but much needed, time outside. If temperatures are below 20 degrees or if there is a wind chill factor causing temperatures to dip significantly, then we will stay indoors. However, if at all possible, we will take our students outside. They truly need this time to run around and play if at all possible. Thanks for your help in ensuring that they have the clothing to keep them warm!
Winter Cheer Clinic
The LNC Cheerleaders are hosting a Winter Cheer Clinic on Saturday, January 20. This will run from 8:30am-12:00pm and will be held in the HS MPR. We would love to have your child attend for a day of cheers, chants, dances, and fun! In addition to the clinic on January 20, participants will also be invited to attend and perform at the HS Women’s Varsity basketball game on Friday, January 26! Please click here to see the form for more information, and feel free to contact us with any questions at lncscheer@gmail.com.
PTO Thanks You!
The ES PTO would like to thank all the volunteers and bakers who helped make the staff holiday cookie walk a success.

Congratulations to the elementary school Knights of Honor for January. These outstanding students pictured with Ms. Holland are Gavin Kuhn, Gwendolyn Viehmann, Cole Kester, Jackson Pancini, and Alana Personett. (Absent this morning and not pictured, but also selected was Anderson Walton.) Recipients of this award have been nominated by a teacher for showing exceptional effort, good character, acts of service, leadership attributes, or a positive attitude.
