Informational Night for 6th Grade Parents
The 6th grade team would like to invite you to a parent seminar next Thursday, November 2 from 6:30pm–8:00pm in the MS Community Room. Experts Amy Young and Kara Ewing from Lake Norman Family Therapy will be speaking to the group about what you might expect from your pre-teen and take questions about how to parent through these challenging months ahead. This parent seminar has become a traditional offering to parents of our 6th grade students and many who have attended in years’ past have felt it was highly worth their time. Please RSVP using this link to ensure we have enough seats for everyone who would like to attend.

Book Fair a Success
Thank you to all of the students, parents, teachers and volunteers who made the middle school book fair a success. The students enjoyed shopping for books for themselves and for others! We were able to raise enough money to get over $1000 in books from Scholastic along with over a thousand dollars to support media programs and teacher activities in the Media Center. We appreciate everyone's support and look forward to our book fair in the spring, which will be a BOGO (Buy one, get one) sale!

Knights WearRecycled Knights Wear
Knight Families - Do you have some old LNC swag that you can't wear anymore? Have your kids outgrown their favorite LNC sweatshirt or T-shirt? Why give your LNC items to one of those other organizations when they could help raise money for our PTO? The LNCharter Spirit Wear team is collecting gently-worn, clean LNC items right now for a future sale to benefit LNC PTO! Simply drop your items off in the collection boxes in the MS or HS office and we will let you know in the next few weeks when we will have our 2nd Annual All Day LNC Spirit Wear Sale that will include gently used items for purchase as well as all of our new groovy gear too!

Science Olympiad Parent Interest Meeting
Science Olympiad will have a parent interest meeting on November 7 at 6:30pm (room TBA).  Students are encouraged, but not required, to attend with their parents.  This team is only for 5th and 6th grade students, and 6th grade spots are very limited.
