Lake Norman Charter will accept online applications for a public school lottery for students in grades K-12 for the 2025-2026 school year from November 1, 2024 to January 31, 2025.
Beginning November 1, 2024, click on the orange "Lottery - Apply Here" button to begin the application process.
As a public charter school, LNC enrolls students through a lottery process. Applications for the lottery are accepted from November 1 through January 31 and all open spots are filled from this lottery. Remaining applicants will be placed on a waitlist for their grade based on the order their application was drawn in the lottery. Spots will be filled as they become available through the 20th day of school.
Applications received after the lottery application deadline (January 31) will be placed at the end of the waitlist of the grade applied for in the order of receipt, after the lottery has been held. Applications are not accepted, and new students will not be admitted, after the 20th school day.
Students applying must be residents of North Carolina at the time of the lottery. Siblings of currently enrolled students will be given priority for enrollment.
LNC is located on two campuses:
- our middle and high school are on Old Statesville Rd, Huntersville
