  • LAKE NORMAN CHARTER LOTTERY

    Lake Norman Charter is accepting applications for grades K-12 for the 2024-2025 school year.

    The deadline to apply is 11:59pm on WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 31, 2024.

    The lottery drawing will take place on February 15, 2024 at 4pm and will be livestreamed for your convenience. A link to view will be emailed to all applicants prior to the lottery drawing.

LNC High School Distinctions

      • Lake Norman Charter received a  grade of “A” from the state of North Carolina Department of Public Instruction every year since it initiated that school grading system. 

      • LNC is a 2022 Silver Medal school, ranked as 22nd best HS in NC, according to US News & World Report

      • LNC had a 98% graduation rate in 2022. with 99% of graduates advancing to college. 

      • LNC class of 2022 was offered more than $7 million in scholarship money.

      • Of the high school students who took AP exams, 82% earned proficient scores or above in 2021.  

      • Students are accepted to NC School of Science and Math

      • LNC has 1:World initiative where all students utilize iPads or laptops to enrich their learning environment by expanding their classrooms from 4 walls and a traditional textbook to a dynamic and interactive global educational experience.

      • High school students are required to perform a minimum of 10 hours of service per year.

      • High school students participate in the Leadership in Action™ program.
