• LNC is ranked in the top 3% of high schools nationwide and the 15th best high school in NC, according to US News & World Report in 2024.
  
  
• LNC had a 99% graduation rate in 2024, with 97% of graduates advancing to college. 
  
  
• LNC class of 2024 was offered more than $2.8 million in scholarship money.
  
  
• Of the high school students who took AP exams, 86% earned proficient scores or above in 2024.  
  
  
• Students are accepted to U.S. Military Academies, the NC School of Science and Math and the Governor's School.
  
  
• LNC has 1:World initiative where all students utilize iPads or laptops to enrich their learning environment by expanding their classrooms from 4 walls and a traditional textbook to a dynamic and interactive global educational experience.
  
  
• High school students are required to perform a minimum of 10 hours of service per year.
  
  
• High school students participate in the Leadership in Action™ program.
