At Lake Norman Charter our motto is, together we learn, lead and serve. One of our core values is, we actively promote student contributions to the community through service opportunities. But a motto, mission or core value statement is only words on paper unless it is lived through actions, attitudes and choices. That is why at our elementary school we will have designated service projects that support our motto and core values by providing our youngest students the opportunity to perform service in their community while at school and through field trips. Service learning will be taught, modeled, and practiced as our students progress through the elementary school.
