Lake Norman Charter High School is the 11th “Best High School” in North Carolina according to U.S. News & World Report’s annual rankings! LNC was the top ranked high school in Mecklenburg County. In all, 654 high schools in the state were reviewed, putting LNC in the top 2%! U.S. News & World Report considered nearly 18,000 high schools across the nation and ranked LNC #416, which is also in the top 2%. This recognition should be shared in and celebrated by all five LNC stakeholders district-wide. We especially wish to recognize our students, teachers and parents’ efforts, particularly in this time of unprecedented challenges. Way to go LNC Knights!

The online application period to apply for the LNC lottery for the 2021-2022 school year has ended.
If you wish to apply, please visit the respective school to complete a paper application. Your student's name will be added to the end of his/her grade level waitlist.
