We will be holding our next sub orientation by the beginning of October (date TBA). To submit your application for consideration, please submit the following by Friday, September 18:

All forms are fillable PDFs and may be completed digitally. Download and save the forms to your computer before completing digitally. Please return the Application for Employment form either by email attachment to jshook@lncharter.org OR via mail addressed to: Lake Norman Charter, Attn: Business Office, 10019 Hambright Rd, Building A, Huntersville, NC 28078 OR place it inside the drop box outside the entrance doors to LNC Elementary School (located at the Hambright Rd address).

Please give the Reference Form for Substitute Teacher Candidates to three individuals whom you have known for at least two years and who can attest to your personal and/or professional character. You may print the form out and give it as a paper copy, or you may download and save the form to your computer and email it to the individuals as an attachment. Ask the individuals to complete the form in its entirety and submit it either by emailing it as an attachment to jshook@lncharter.org from their email account (I cannot accept references that come from the substitute candidate’s email address) OR by printing it, enclosing it inside an envelope, and signing across the back seal of the envelope. From there they can either deliver the envelope to the drop box outside the entrance doors to LNC Elementary School OR mail it to Lake Norman Charter, Attn: Business Office, 10019 Hambright Rd, Building A, Huntersville, NC 28078.

Applications and all 3 Reference Forms must be submitted in the manner described above by Friday, September 18 for consideration for you to be invited to a brief Zoom interview.

As a note to keep you informed about LNC’s operational status during COVID-19, LNC has begun the 2020-2021 school year under Plan C (fully remote) for the first 4 weeks of school. On September 10, the LNC Board will reevaluate the opening plan to determine if we will continue in Plan C or move into a different Plan (such as hybrid Plan B). Under Plan C, the need for substitute teachers is extremely limited, but we would still like to onboard as many new subs as are interested with the hope that we will move into Plan B or Plan A at some point this school year.

Thank you again for your interest in LNC and the service of our students.
