Eligible employees will be provided the opportunity to enroll in health insurance through the State Health Plan and will be provided employer-paid dental insurance, basic employee life/AD&D insurance, and long and short-term disability insurance. LNC offers the following supplements at the employee’s cost: dependent coverage, voluntary life insurance, voluntary dependent life insurance, additional voluntary group benefits, vision insurance, flex spending plans (Medical FSA/Dependent Care Account), and Legal/IDShield membership.
In addition to contributing to retirement and disability benefits provided under Social Security, LNC also participates in the Teachers and State Employees Retirement System (TSERS) through NC Retirement, and eligible employees may voluntarily participate in the school’s NC Supplemental 401(k)/457 Retirement Plans through NC Retirement.
