We are seeking candidates from within the human resources, business/finance or educational fields with experience in areas such as board/executive leadership, fundraising and strategic planning. Successful candidates will be interested and equipped to help lead LNC forward as we prepare our students for an evolving post-high school landscape.

The primary purpose of the board of education is to set policy, provide oversight and approve and oversee the management of the school budget. Our charter provides for the role of the board in the form of several committees: budget and finance, investment, audit and evaluation, governance, as well as several board-approved subcommittees that revolve around our strategic areas of focus and needs. Service on the board of education requires a time commitment as well as some prior knowledge and/or skill in the particular area. The board of education meets monthly, typically the first Wednesday evening of each month.

Applications are due Monday, May 5, 2025
