Mr. Buckler is a Director of Procurement for Lowe’s Companies Inc. supporting the company’s multi-billion dollar procurement activities. Over his 20 career, Rick has held positions in a variety of functions, including accounting, auditing, financial planning & analysis, program management and procurement. He also has broad industry experience that spans financial services, consulting, manufacturing, healthcare and retail. Rick has a BS in Accounting from Towson University, a MBA from University of Maryland and is also a Certified Public Accountant. Rick and his wife, Cindy, live in Huntersville with their two children, one of whom attends Lake Norman Charter.

Ms. Leslie Fogarty, Vice-Chair

Mrs. Fogarty is a professional with 20 years of experience in financial services and management consulting. She has expertise in risk management, process and organizational design, change management, human resources, finance, and audit. Most recently, Leslie was a Compliance and Risk Executive at Bank of America with responsibility for the execution of compliance and operational risk policy for U.S. privacy laws across the enterprise. She received her Finance and Marketing Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Arizona and was awarded the Fellow in Information Privacy (FIP) credential in recognition of her experience and contributions in the field of privacy. Leslie and her husband Mike live in Charlotte with their two daughters, one of whom attends Lake Norman Charter.

Mr. Tilley is a finance executive with 20+ years of experience in various financial and accounting roles across multiple industries, including industrial manufacturing, consumer product and financial services. He has broad experience leading strategic and capital planning, budgeting and forecasting, financial modeling and analysis, M&A activity and business process optimization. Jared is currently Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at Nuveen (a TIAA Company), where he has financial oversight for a $500M annual budget. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Accounting degrees from Gardner-Webb University. Jared and his wife, Cindy, live in Huntersville with their five daughters, all of whom currently attend Lake Norman Charter.

Stephanie Painter is a senior vice president and manager in Enterprise Risk, within the Corporate Risk organization at Wells Fargo. As a 20-year veteran of the company, she is responsible for the overall coordination and direction of company-wide strategies designed to meet heightened expectations for strong independent risk management, including risk aggregation, risk appetite, self-assessment, and legal entity governance. Stephanie earned her bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY. She also completed the Executive Leadership Program from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. She and her husband Karl live in Denver and have six children together ranging from two to 13 years old. Three currently attend LNC and three will join their siblings at LNC in the coming years.

Ms. Amy Carr

Ms. Carr is a long-standing supporter of the NC Charter School system. She has devoted much of her time and creative energies over the last 10 years learning about, developing programs for and supporting the unique needs of the charter schools her children attend. Most recently, Amy worked as Fundraising and Community Relations Coordinator at a local charter school. In this role, she successfully developed and implemented fundraising and communication strategies to help fund the growth of the intermediate and upper school campuses. Since becoming an LNC parent, she has been an active volunteer in many capacities and joined the Engagement Committee this past fall. Outside of business hours, Amy shares her time and abilities with several non-profits including the Kennedy Strong Foundation and JDRF.  She received her Bachelors and Masters degree in Accounting from the University of Virginia.  Amy and her husband Jed live in Concord with their two children, both of whom attend Lake Norman Charter.

Mrs. Ridgely Chapman

Mrs. Chapman is a mediator, psychologist and the President/CEO of Global Minds United, which is a non-profit whose mission is educating and empowering students to engage in global dialogue.  She is currently working with Harvard Graduate School of Education to create and spread global education to students and teachers in the United States and around the world.  Mrs. Chapman earned a BA in Literature/ Psychology from The George Washington University, MSC in Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology and Psychotherapy from University College London and Mediation/Conflict Resolution certification from Northwestern. Mrs. Chapman enjoys public speaking at conferences and teaching Conflict Resolution and Peace-building.  She has been a guest speaker on Refugees at LNC MS, Women’s Rights in War Torn Countries at LNC HS and Conflict Resolution at Davidson College. Mrs. Chapman currently lives in Davidson with her husband, Richard, and their three daughters who attend LNC Elementary, Middle and High School and love being Knights.

Ms. Jennifer Johnson

Jennifer Johnson is a marketing strategist with 19+ years of experience in the fields of media, health & human services and higher education. She has experience leading major organization change initiatives including brand and pricing. Jennifer is currently the Vice President of Admissions & Marketing at Queens University, where she leads the teams responsible for undergraduate admissions and recruiting, creative services, graphic design, web, social media, public relations, communication, advertising and marketing. She led the university’s brand initiative which launched to the public in April of 2016. Prior to Queens, Jennifer led marketing for the YMCA of Greater Charlotte, where she spearheaded pricing and brand projects. Early in her career, she worked in the field of journalism as a producer for WBTV News in Charlotte, NC. She graduated from Duke in 1998, and graduated from Queens McColl School of Business in 2014 with a Master of Science in Executive Coaching. She is an active volunteer with Mecklenburg Community Church and serves on the School Leadership Team at Myers Park Traditional School. She is raising two boys – Drew and Chase – with her husband Adrian.

Mr. Greg Kilpatrick

Mr. Kilpatrck is a partner at McGuireWoods LLP, where he chairs the firm’s Securities and Capital Markets department.  Over the past 20 years, he has worked with issuers on a number of complex securities offerings, including private placements, registered offerings, shelf registration statements and 144A offerings. Greg also represents issuers in their public offerings of derivative securities and structured products.  In addition, Greg has extensive experience with private equity and private sector M&A transactions. He received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Hampton University and his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina. He is an active volunteer in the community, and has served on the Board of Directors of the YMCA of Greater Charlotte and of Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region, and on the Executive Committee of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce.  He and his wife Leisha live in Huntersville and have three children together ranging from seven to 21 years old; two currently attend LNC and one graduated from LNC in 2017.

Ms. Elizabeth Timkovich

Ms. Timkovich is an in-house attorney for Wells Fargo in Charlotte, supporting regulatory matters, internal investigations, and other issues for the bank’s mortgage business.  Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Ms. Timkovich was a litigation partner in the law firm Winston & Strawn, representing large financial institutions and other companies in court actions across much of the U.S., handling a wide array of commercial and consumer disputes.  Ms. Timkovich earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama, and her law degree from Yale Law School.  She and her husband, Alexander (a.k.a. Sasha), live in Huntersville with their son, who has attended Lake Norman Charter since fifth grade.
